Definition of CC jargon (which you can usually see in the newsgroup and in the hint book):

Bold - the lower of the highest score possible and the highest score anyone has achieved
p/u - pick up (chip/s)
boost - when you get an extra move when stepping off of ice, teleports, or force floors
ng - the annexcafe.chips.challenge newsgroup at news.annexcafe.com
avi at muppetlabs - the avi is available at muppetlabs (email me below for the username and 
password)
CCLP2/CC2 - Chip's Challenge Level Pack 2 (some people confuse it with Chip's Challenge 2)
shark - glider
t-chip - record set by a program patched by t-chip, which converts untimed levels' time limits to
999 seconds; available at http://home.no.net/rspaans/download/other.html
