Information about Keyboard Wielder's level sets:- KeyboardWielder --------------- This is my main level set. The levels are mostly large and intricate, and require some thinking to solve. There is generally more than enough time available to do this. A lot of guesswork, having to constantly run around avoiding monsters, unconventional ('invalid') tile combinations to effect unhappy surprises... are NOT features boasted by these levels. Most levels in this set can be solved in either ruleset; but a few can only be played in the MS ruleset. See KeyboardWielder.txt for more information. KeeWee ------ This set contains levels designed for kids and beginners. The levels introduce elements of the game one by one (at a gentler pace than the Chip's Challenge or Tile World introductory levels). Most levels are small, monsters and other hazards are scarce and all levels are untimed. This set can be played under either the MS or Lynx ruleset. eeWeeK ------ The eeWeeK levels are medium-difficulty versions of the KeeWee levels - with the addition of monsters/other hazards and time limits, but almost no other changes in the level design. For the first few levels, the solutions differ mainly in having to avoid monsters and race against time; but starting with level 11, you may need to re-think your overall strategy. This set can also be played under either the MS or Lynx ruleset, but the Lynx ruleset is recommended for more fun and a greater challenge in some cases. KWests ------ This is a compilation of levels that were designed to meet certain criteria. Some were "Create Competition" submissions, made according to the specifications of the contest. Others were designed for online versions of the game, which implemented a limited subset of the game elements. Most levels in this set can be solved in either ruleset. See KWests.txt for the details for each level. More levels will be added to each set in course of time. "That's All" levels occur at the end of a series of levels: these are clearly unsolvable levels (no exit) that exist to prevent Chip's Challenge terminating with an error message after solving the last 'real' level, and provide a password that can be used when a 'real' level is added in its place in the future. There may be levels where the objective is something other than to reach the exit (the objective will be indicated in the hint text). Such a level can also be 'solved', i.e. the stated objective can be achieved. Other than that, all levels are solvable; there are no levels that are made to look like they might be solved but can't be. Have fun playing, and look out for more levels! - Madhav "Keyboard Wielder" Shanbhag.
