About BitBusters.club

Introduction

BitBusters.club is a web-based fansite project which aims to be a community hub for the Chip's Challenge game community. One of the site's primary goals is to make it easier to find information about the game and to become involved with the community, both for new and existing players alike. This website started exclusively as a Chips wiki in early 2019 (now hosted at wiki.bitbusters.club) but focus has since been shifted toward bringing other existing Chips websites together under one roof.

Our Vision

BitBusters.club is not a traditional website where all content is curated and published by staff. While there are a handful of server operators who look after the core pages and technical server operations, each subdomain of the site has its own team of content managers and collaborators who drive their subsite's content. We welcome (and rely on) community involvement in the form of content contributions and suggestions for improving all aspects of this website.

As this project expands, we wish to bring together as many Chips projects as possible to maximize accessibility and reduce redundancy. This could include hosting more personal software projects of general interest to the community or hosting additional web services which serve to make access to game information and data more easily accessible.

If you have a Chips-themed website or an idea for a website you would like to see integrated with BitBusters.club, we encourage you to read our guidelines for content creators and to contact us with a proposal. Proposals to host new webpages, subsites or services on BitBusters.club will be fairly considered by the server operators on a case-by-case basis.

Get Involved

One of the easiest ways to get involved with the development of this project is to join the community's Discord server. An entire discord channel is dedicated to discussion of this project and contributions are welcome!

The Chip's Challenge Wiki is always in need of editors to create new pages and maintain existing content.

Finally, if you have your own Chips-themed website you would like to see integrated with BitBusters.club (or an idea for one), we encourage you to read our guidelines for content creators and to contact us with a proposal. Proposals to host new webpages, subsites or services on BitBusters.club will be fairly considered by the server operators on a case-by-case basis.
